My Honest Jikan Nazo Review: A Number Whodunit Your Buyers Haven't Solved Yet
A register of thousands of numbers. A short chain of clues. Exactly one entry survives. Verified single-solution, built in one click, sized for every KDP trim.
I've now reviewed three puzzle engines from Ike Paz and Luke Bowes, and I'll tell you what keeps bringing me back: they don't build more of what's already flooding Amazon. They build mechanics nobody's published yet.
Kuro Nazo did whodunit logic puzzles. Shigai Royalty did Murdoku — mansion grids and suspects. Jikan Nazo does something different again, and honestly it's the cleverest of the three: a time-crime number mystery. Your buyers have seen word search book number four thousand and sudoku book number nine thousand. They have not seen this.
The engine comes from Marina Matic, with Luke turning it into a one-click build. Let me explain the mechanic first, because the mechanic is the entire reason this sells.

The Mechanic: How A Number Mystery Works
Picture a register — a page of thousands of entries. Phone numbers, timestamps, lottery tickets, whatever the book's theme is. Then a short chain of clues, each one true, each one eliminating a swathe of the register. The solver works the clues, crosses off entries, and lands on the single number that survives everything.
Why this works on solvers:
Instantly understood
Cross things off until one is left. No rules page to study, no learning curve.
A crime to solve
The clue chain is a case. Narrative pulls the solver through a page of numbers.
One answer, verified
Every puzzle is checked to exactly one solution before it prints. No ambiguity complaints.
A real payoff
You don't just finish a grid — you identify the number. That lands differently.
That verification step matters more than it sounds. Ambiguous logic puzzles are the fastest route to one-star reviews — solvers spot a broken puzzle immediately and they say so publicly. Every Jikan Nazo puzzle is verified to a single solution before it goes to print, which is what lets you publish a book you've never personally solved.
What Exactly Is Jikan Nazo?
It's a cloud engine (nothing to install) that builds complete time-crime number mystery books. You set the theme, difficulty and size — and one click produces the entire book: front matter, rules pages, the clue chains, the register pages and a coded solution section, with live page previews as it builds.
On the front end the registers run up to 28,500 entries, which is hundreds of pages from a single build. Every KDP trim size is supported, with chapter themes and difficulty tiers so a book has structure rather than being a flat run of puzzles. Exports are unlimited PNG plus 100 PDFs a month.
The thing that makes this a product line rather than a single book is the registers. Each one is a different kind of thing being hunted — and each one quietly points at a different buyer:
Think about that for a second. A card-hands book sells to poker players. Coordinates sell to map and travel people. Lottery tickets sell to a completely different crowd again. That's the same engine producing books for audiences that would never buy each other's — and it's the single most under-discussed thing in this offer.
Two Income Rails From One Build
📕 Rail 1 — KDP Paperbacks
Publish full puzzle books to Amazon. Amazon prints, ships and handles the buyer; you take royalties. Every trim size is supported with live previews, so the interior is publish-ready.
🖨️ Rail 2 — Printables
The same puzzles export as digital printables for Etsy, Teachers Pay Teachers or your own store — no printing cost, instant delivery, and a buyer pool that never sees your Amazon listing.
One workflow, two storefronts. If Amazon has a slow month the printables side keeps running, and vice versa.
How It Works — 3 Steps
Set the case
Pick your register type, register size (up to 28,500 entries), chapter themes and difficulty tier. Choose your KDP trim.
One click builds the book
Front matter, rules, clue chains, register pages and the coded solution — generated together, with every puzzle verified to a single solution and live page previews as it goes.
Export and publish
Unlimited PNG and 100 PDFs a month on the front end. Upload to KDP, or sell the files as printables.
A Closer Look At What's Inside
🔢 The Verified Puzzle Engine
Builds the register, the clue chain and the elimination logic, then confirms exactly one entry survives. This is the difference between a puzzle book and a complaint magnet.
📕 One-Click Whole-Book Build
Not "generate a puzzle" — generate the book. Front matter, rules, clues, registers and a coded solution section, assembled in one pass with live previews.
📐 Every KDP Trim, Live Previews
Interior sized correctly for KDP from the start, previewed as you build. That removes the single most annoying part of low-content publishing.
🎚️ Chapter Themes & Difficulty Tiers
Books have shape — an easy opening section, harder cases later. That's what keeps a solver moving through the book instead of quitting on page nine.
📤 Export Options
Unlimited PNG plus 100 PDF exports a month on the front end. The upgrades lift that to unlimited PDF, PPTX and DOCX, and Premium adds SVG for print shops and POD.
The Offer — What Each Tier Adds
Four products. The $19 front end is a complete, publishable engine on its own — here's the honest map of what the upgrades actually give you:
Jikan Nazo — $19
The Find-the-Number engine: verified single-solution books, registers up to 28,500 entries, one-click whole-book builds with front matter, rules, clues and coded solutions, every KDP trim with live previews, chapter themes and difficulty tiers, unlimited PNG and 100 PDF exports a month.
Jikan Nazo PRO — $57
Nine more registers — phone numbers, timestamps, times, lottery tickets, IP addresses and more — plus a print-format picker on every register, page frames, fonts, 7 languages, and unlimited PDF, PPTX and DOCX export. Honest read: this is the one most people will actually want, because the extra registers are what turn one book into a catalog.
Jikan Nazo PREMIUM — $187
Ten story registers (dates, coordinates, coded names, colors, addresses, card hands and more), the Casebook — printed story pages wrapped around every puzzle — and SVG export for print shops and POD. Everything in Pro is included. This is the priciest step by a distance; it's for people publishing seriously, not for your first book.
Icon Nazo — $47
A second engine entirely: icon-based mystery puzzle books using the same one-click verified build, with every export format included. Opens up kid-friendly and gift-book angles that the number registers don't reach.
My honest advice: start on the $19 front end and publish one book. If the extra registers start looking useful — and they will, because each one is a different audience — Pro is the natural next step. Only reach for Premium once you're running a real catalog, and take Icon Nazo if the kids and gift market is genuinely yours.
My Real Take
I've published 37+ books on KDP, so here's the test I apply to every low-content tool: does it produce something a buyer would choose over the cheaper book sitting next to it? Most generators fail that immediately — they make more of what already floods the category, which means you're competing on price and cover alone.
Jikan Nazo passes, and it passes for a specific reason. Number puzzles sell. Mystery puzzles sell. Almost nobody is serving the overlap. A solver who likes sudoku and also likes whodunits currently has to buy two different books — this is one book for both, and that's a genuinely open corner rather than a crowded one.
The one-click whole-book build is the practical win. I've used tools that generate lovely puzzles and then leave you assembling front matter, rules pages and a solutions section by hand in Canva at midnight. Getting the complete interior — correctly trimmed, previewed, with a coded solution section — in one pass is the difference between publishing twelve books and publishing one.
On the vendors: I've covered their tools twice before and readers of mine actually published with them. They run active member groups and members do post their own royalty dashboards in there. I've seen those screenshots. Read them the way you'd read any user testimonial — real people, real results, and absolutely no guarantee that yours look like theirs. What produces royalties is publishing consistently. Owning the software is step one of about nine.
And here's the honest gap — the same gap in every book-creation tool I've ever reviewed. It builds a beautiful book. Then it stops. Nobody knows your book exists, and a book nobody finds earns nothing no matter how clever the puzzles are. That gap is exactly why my bonus is what it is.
What Could Be Better
✓ What's Great
- ✓ A genuinely fresh mechanic in an already-proven niche
- ✓ Every puzzle verified to exactly one solution before it prints
- ✓ One click builds the WHOLE book, not just the puzzles
- ✓ Every KDP trim with live page previews
- ✓ 19 registers across the funnel = 19 different buyer audiences
- ✓ Works for KDP paperbacks AND printables
- ✓ $19 entry, from vendors with a real KDP track record
⚠️ Room for Improvement
- ⚠️ Front end caps PDF exports at 100/month (PNG unlimited)
- ⚠️ The front end has one register — the variety lives in Pro and Premium
- ⚠️ Premium at $187 is a big jump; most people don't need it yet
- ⚠️ Member income screenshots are individual results, not typical outcomes
- ⚠️ It builds books — it does nothing to get them seen (my bonus covers that)
- ⚠️ You still handle your own keywords, categories and covers on Amazon

🎁 Plus early access to BookBloom — my unreleased Pinterest campaign software
From one Amazon link to a full 30-day Pinterest campaign
Jikan Nazo builds the book. BookBloom is how readers find it.
The problem every publishing tool leaves you with
You build a great book. You upload it. And then… nothing. It sits on a shelf with millions of others, seen only by whoever Amazon's algorithm decides to show it to. Most low-content publishers never fail at making books — they fail because nobody ever finds the ones they made.
Pinterest is the answer almost nobody uses properly for books. It's a search engine, not a social feed — a pin you post today can still be sending clicks eighteen months from now. And puzzle books are visual, which is exactly what Pinterest rewards. The catch has always been the work: designing pins, writing descriptions, building somewhere to send the traffic, and keeping a posting schedule going for a month.
What BookBloom actually does
You paste in your Amazon book link, title, author, description, audience and genre — and it builds the entire campaign around it. Four steps, all inside one dashboard:
🎨 Generate the pin artwork
AI creates promotional pins at Pinterest's 2:3 ratio, each built around a different marketing angle — the hook, the world, the stakes, the vibe. Regenerate any image you don't like, download any pin as a PNG.
📌 Set up Pinterest properly
An SEO-friendly profile bio template to copy straight in, plus the walkthrough for getting a Pinterest business account live.
🌐 Build the landing page
A page builder where you choose the headline, the copy, the button text and exactly which pins or videos appear — nothing auto-dumped. Live desktop and mobile preview, then download a standalone index.html with Open Graph tags, Twitter cards, JSON-LD Book schema and the Pinterest domain-claim tag already in it. Drag it into Netlify Drop and it's live in about a minute.
📅 Schedule 30 days of pins
A day-by-day calendar at 3 or 5 pins a day, each with its date, time, title, description, artwork and its own unique destination slug — link diversity, so Pinterest doesn't read your campaign as spam. Mark each one posted and watch the progress bar fill.
Then export a Pinterest bulk-import CSV with staggered posting times across the day — so a month of pins goes up in one import instead of thirty sessions. Every book also gets a public, SEO-optimised landing page of its own with your Amazon link on it.
Why you're getting it before it's released
BookBloom launches on WarriorPlus shortly as a paid product. It's not on sale anywhere right now and you can't buy it at any price. Everyone who picks up Jikan Nazo through my link during this launch gets in free and grandfathered — including the updates I ship after release.
Straight talk, so there are no surprises on day one: BookBloom needs a free Google Gemini API key for the AI pin generation — it takes a couple of minutes to create, there's guidance inside Settings, and the free tier is enough to get going. Pinterest's own API isn't connected yet, so posting happens through their bulk CSV import rather than fully automatic publishing. And it's a traffic system, not a magic button — you still upload the pins and run the campaign. No income is promised or implied.
💡 Why the pairing matters: a puzzle book with no traffic earns nothing, however clever the mechanic. Build the book with Jikan Nazo on Saturday, have a 30-day Pinterest campaign pointed at it by Sunday. Almost nobody promoting this launch is handing you the second half.
When this hits zero the free BookBloom window shuts. After that the only way in is paying for it on WarriorPlus.
Who Should (And Shouldn't) Get This
✓ Perfect for
- Low-content publishers who want out of the word search race
- KDP sellers building a puzzle catalog with real variety
- Etsy and printables sellers (same puzzles, second storefront)
- Anyone who owned Kuro Nazo or Shigai and wants a different mechanic
- Publishers with books already live who need traffic to them
✗ Not for
- Anyone expecting royalties from a single published book
- People who won't learn the basic KDP listing steps
- Publishers who'd rather write content than generate puzzles
Ready To Publish A Puzzle Nobody's Solved Yet?
One click builds the case, verifies the logic and lays out the whole book. Then BookBloom turns it into a 30-day Pinterest campaign — free, and only until Saturday.
Get Jikan Nazo + BookBloomMy Bottom Line
Jikan Nazo earns the recommendation because it answers the real question in low-content publishing — not "how do I make more puzzle books," but "how do I make one someone picks up." A number whodunit is instantly playable, genuinely unfamiliar, and it sits inside a category that already sells every day. Every puzzle is verified, the whole interior builds in one pass, and the same output feeds Amazon and the printables market.
At $19 one-time from a team whose previous two engines my readers actually published with, the risk is small and the mechanic is new. And with BookBloom attached, you don't end up where most people end up — holding a finished book with no readers.
Your Questions, Answered
❓ What's a number mystery, in one sentence?
A register of thousands of entries plus a short chain of true clues — the solver eliminates entries until exactly one survives, and that's the answer to the case.
❓ Do I have to solve or design anything myself?
No. The engine builds the register, the clue chain and the elimination logic, and verifies that exactly one entry survives before it prints. That verification is precisely why you can publish books you've never solved.
❓ I'm a complete beginner. Is this too advanced?
Not at all. You're choosing settings — register type, size, difficulty, trim — and one click builds the complete interior including front matter, rules and solutions. The only genuinely new skill is the Amazon upload process, which is a one-time learning curve.
❓ How is this different from Kuro Nazo or Shigai Royalty?
Same team, completely different mechanic. Kuro Nazo was whodunit logic puzzles; Shigai was Murdoku with a mansion grid and suspects. Jikan Nazo is elimination against a register of numbers — a different solving experience, a different shelf, and a different buyer. If you own one of the others, this isn't a repeat purchase.
❓ Where can I actually sell these?
Two rails. Amazon KDP paperbacks, where Amazon prints and ships and you take royalties — and digital printables on Etsy, Teachers Pay Teachers or your own store, with no printing cost and instant delivery. Same puzzles, two separate buyer pools.
❓ What exactly is BookBloom?
It's my own software for KDP authors. You give it your Amazon book link and the basics, and it builds a complete 30-day Pinterest campaign around it: AI-generated pin artwork at Pinterest's 2:3 ratio themed on different marketing angles, an SEO profile bio template, a landing-page builder that outputs a standalone HTML file you drag into Netlify Drop, a day-by-day pinning calendar at 3 or 5 pins a day with unique link slugs, and a Pinterest bulk-import CSV with staggered posting times. Every book also gets its own public SEO landing page.
❓ Why Pinterest and not somewhere else?
Because Pinterest is a search engine wearing a social network's clothes. A pin posted today can still be driving clicks a year later, which is the opposite of a feed post that dies in four hours. And puzzle books are visual — covers and interior samples are exactly the kind of thing Pinterest surfaces. The reason more authors don't use it is the workload, which is the part BookBloom removes.
❓ Does BookBloom need anything else to work?
Two things, and I'd rather say them now than let you find out after buying. You'll need a free Google Gemini API key for the AI pin generation — it takes a couple of minutes to create and there's step-by-step guidance in Settings; the free tier is enough to get started. And Pinterest's own API isn't connected yet, so pins go up via Pinterest's bulk CSV import rather than fully automatic posting. Netlify Drop, which hosts your landing page, is free.
❓ Why are you giving away an unreleased product?
Because it's the exact half this offer is missing. Jikan Nazo builds books brilliantly and then stops — and a book nobody finds earns nothing. Handing you the traffic side means you actually get to use what you just bought. Everyone who comes in through this launch is grandfathered in, updates included.
❓ How long is BookBloom available for?
Only until the Jikan Nazo launch window closes — Saturday, September 26 at 11:59 PM ET. When that timer hits zero the free access window shuts, and after that the only way to get it is to buy it on WarriorPlus when it launches.
❓ Isn't the puzzle book market saturated?
The market is busy; this mechanic isn't. Word search and sudoku are done to death, but number mysteries are a corner buyers are still discovering — and puzzle books sell on Amazon every single day. Novelty gets the click; a proven niche closes the sale.
❓ Are there export limits on Jikan Nazo?
On the front end, PNG exports are unlimited and PDFs are capped at 100 a month — plenty for your first books. Pro lifts that to unlimited PDF, PPTX and DOCX, and Premium adds SVG for print shops and POD.
❓ What about those member income screenshots?
They're real posts from members of the vendors' current tools, shared in their private groups — and they're individual results, not typical or promised outcomes. Treat them as evidence that the niche pays for people who publish consistently, not as a forecast for you. Your results depend on how many quality books you get live and how well you market them.
❓ Which upgrade is worth it?
My honest read: Pro ($57) is the one most active publishers will want, because nine extra registers means nine more audiences plus 7 languages and unlimited exports. Premium ($187) is a serious jump — take it when you're running a real catalog and want the Casebook story pages and SVG. Icon Nazo ($47) is a different engine entirely and only makes sense if kid-friendly and gift books are your market.
❓ How do I claim BookBloom after buying?
Purchase Jikan Nazo through any link on this page and your access details are delivered alongside your purchase — you'll create your account and there's a six-step getting-started guide built into the app. Any issues at all, reach out via d-papa.com and I'll sort it personally.
