Look, to be honest with you, 3 years ago, sometime in 2011 I had a major change in me. In order to learn how to develop the right mind-set to reach your goals, you need to basically WAKE UP. What I mean by wake up, I mean, start questioning life. Ask yourself. Are you happy where you’re at? Are you happy with what you’re doing?
For me It was a Friday night, at my usual “club” scene, and I was just hanging out, but really wondering, WHAT AM I DOING HERE? I felt, old, I felt I was wasting my life in a club with a drink in my hand.
Something inside me was trying to get a hold of my “autopilot” that I was taking part of my life at the time. I was doing my routine, and my inside was calling to break the routine once and forever.
Things changed…something changed. Now I understand why…
I’ve started learning about having a right mind-set. I started hearing about the Law of Attraction.
I remember reading The Secret way back when it came out. I thought I knew how life worked back then. But I was so wrong, you can’t even imagine.
I think the secret worked just for like a week. After that I think i got tired. I was doing it all wrong. I was focusing on the wrong things, on the materialistic things in life.
Just understood it the wrong way, because I was so obsessed into money. If I had no money then things just weren’t happy in my world. My god, thinking back then, how wrong it was to even BE in that state of mind.
Everything just took a downfall for me, and NOW I know why. I can safely go back in my life and recap at what happened, and where it all went wrong. But I wouldn’t really call it a bad thing, because if that never happened, I wouldn’t be here today, doing what I love the most. Basically living my dream.
I had to go through phases, and levels (as I Like to call it), and right now I’m on a very high level of understanding how this beautiful universe works.
We got laws surrounding us which we control. We really do. I’ve reached my goals since I’ve set forth on this journey of finding out the truth about us and myself. And I feel that since that time I started reading certain books, I’ve experienced my manifestations and they are all over this blog. You can go back to one of my first postings, and you can see the transformation of where I was to where I’m going.
I already know where I’m ending up at …
At the end of the day, no matter what happens, we have the power to choose our thoughts about any event that takes place in our lives. By Developing the right mind-set, it will help you reach your goals.
I’ve been rewiring my brain for the past 3 years now, and right now I’ve just scraped the top of the mountain I’m on. I got so much to go, but I’m glad I know how. I can show you what books to read to maybe speed up your process in understanding and believing. Without believing you won’t get anywhere.
There’s Work Involved
Just like anything else in life that is worth having, developing the right mind-set has a little bit of work involved. However, this work is not too painful.
You must make an effort everyday to listen to how many times the voice of negativity comes to visit. When you hear that voice of negativity that wants to sabotage your success, keeps you unsafe, and makes you fearful, you must work hard to change it.
You also need to pay attention to our little voice in our belly, or should I say gutt feeling? That’s one important voice you need to listen to. We seem to always ignore it. We really shouldn’t. That’s the voice of truth.
I can see my words coming out my thoughts. If they are negative, I can no spot it, and change it immediately. Before, I woudn’t even realize how much negativity was coming out of my mouth, or mind. Your every thought is basically an order to the universe.
Even when saying, “I have no money ” unfortunately, you’ve just placed an order, so you get more of that “NO MONEY” in your bank account.
Trust me, been through that too many times. I hated myself for being in that state of mind, but by choosing to accept that then, and move on to new things now, its helping me understand how grateful I was in that position to feel that thought of failure. I’m smelling success already.
Try and remind yourself that every negative thought that goes out will have a negative reaction in your life. Its basically what we like to call Karma. You need to go back into your life, and think of all those times when you had your worst day. Think about why that happened.
Same goes for the good days. Think of why that happened. When you connect the two you’ll notice that it was you all along that created those instances in your life.
Same goes for the things you’ve obtained in your life. Your favorite things and the things you hated. Your favorite things were your own manifestations, done when subconsciously you were making an order, when you first thought about it, or you really humbly thought about having it.
When you were so humble, you didn’t even realize, you obtained your “gift” sometime later on. Right? come on, think…remember, connect the two you’ll see where I’m going with this.
Practice this daily, and start going back in your life, just so you can start believing. If you can’t believe there is a force that transmits from your brain to the universe, then this might not work at all. You need to be open minded.
Re-train your Brain
Once you have recognized the negative talk and realize it is not valid, move on to the next step, which is to re-train your brain. Take that thought of, “What if I fail?” and change it to ” How I will succeed?”
Retraining your brain takes practice every day. The use of positive affirmations is a useful tool in retraining your brain. Although it might feel a bit awkward at first, positive affirmations really do work.
Take out all the negative words, in your sentences, and rephrase them. Use words such as I CAN, I WILL , I WANT, instead of anything sounding like you’re in doubt. GET RID OF DOUBT!
Everyone is entitled to everything they want. It’s just all about you controlling your universe surrounding you.
So many people might criticize this article, my thoughts. But I challenge you to take a small test with this in a day, just so you can see the effect of it when you’re aware!
Once you’re aware of what’s going on around you and understanding what’s going on , then you can get a grasp of things and give an answer to each situation. That’s why at the end of the day, everyone should recap throughout their day, see what happened , and be grateful for all the great things that happened to you within that day.
I do it daily, following some instructions from the “The Magic” I just finished reading.
Every night, before going to sleep, I think of all the great things that happened to me during my day, and give a big thank you to all. Its crazy, since I’ve been doing this, there isn’t a day that went by, that I didn’t at least have one good thing happen to me.
Sure , we are humans, we’ll have our bad days. There’s nothing we can do to change that, unless we are fully rewired. Hey I’m not perfect, but I’m going to be perfect in my world when I’m complete with this.
Align Yourself with Success
We all have goals. The difference between those who succeed and those who fail are those who succeed are willing to try. If you are afraid of failure, see how you can turn that around.
Maybe failure is a way of learning, but never trying will not equate success. I know my own failure is currently leading me to my success.
Align yourself with success by taking on new things. Network in different places, join seminars, take classes to boost your skill set and your confidence. Try something new you have never done before – even if it is public speaking.
I’ve been part of an Affiliate Network Community where I’ve been coached on how to build my passion into my own business. This helped me meet up with others such as myself, that want the same things I want.
I want to succeed in my own business. I want to do what I love doing as a job, and a hobby. And I can! This website is proof that I can.
Set your own self up for success, put yourself in places where you are bound to succeed, and learn to recognize that even if you fail once or twice, the mere fact that you are trying aligns you with success.
Once you have succeed in smaller steps, you will feel more confident to take on more and more eventually reaching those coveted goals.
Books that changed my life
I’m going to list a few books I read, which literally changed my life so much. My perspective has changed so much, that I’m no longer a skeptic. I’ve used these books, and I’ve applied what they’ve taught me, and this lead me to creating my blogging career.
Amazing how things fall into place. How things get paved all the way to your success, WHEN YOU’RE AWARE.
Everything after reading these books, were about me taking action and taking control of my life. I used to choose gaming before working, now I find working, before gaming. I’m working on projects that I love working for.
I’m giving myself the biggest challenging career face-off I have ever had in my life, and I’m kicking ass at it. I’m experiencing new things, I’m learning new things and I feel I’ve come so far, and have so much further to go.
Looking forward to my future, you should be looking forward to yours.
You have nothing to lose, but so much to gain. I never read books folks. I hated reading, but when it comes to self help, that’s a different story. Knowing that I’m just going to be a better person, and a more successful person in life, my career overall, is good enough for me to chase that dream and those goals I have.
